"Starbucks"
Low pay. Crappy tips. Awful managers. HORRIBLE customers. 60% of the people we serve are pleasent and happy and bearable...I quite often find myself lost in conversation until I realize that their drink is ready. (I work at a drive through store and more often than not find myself wanting to be at the window so I can chat) But..that other 40% are just....... Bitching that they want their cappuccino (to starbucks its half foam half liquid milk) "latte wet", but still want it to be a cappuccino. SHUT UP ASSHOLES. Complaining at the drive through because they only ordered a pastry, and it took 15 minutes to get to the window AT 9 AM! If you ordered a drink you'd understand. Get a pastry at dunkin donuts. Adding 9000 ingredients to a simple drink. Mocha, almond, vanilla, pumpkin spice and hazlenut, then BITCHING when we charge you for all 9000 syrups you wanted. Getting an iced americano with no water, and filled to the top with milk, then refusing to call it an iced latte. Fingerprints on the pastry case. Asking for an iced cappuccino or not knowing the 39th time you've been here that yes ALL frappucinnos are ICED AND BLENDED Caramel Macchiatto made with sugar free syrup and extra caramel. WTF HALF PACKET OF SPLENDA! YOU DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!!! ordering an iced americano with no water, then walking over to the condiment bar and adding a whole cup of half and half, so you can avoid paying that extra $1 to order an iced latte. Bringing your kids in and ordering 3000000 different drinks then not even saying thank you after we hurry to make every single one just as your little brats wanted it. Comming in 5 minutes before we close our doors so we can start to clean and go home, and proceed to ask where our pastries are, if we have anything fresher, what all of our drinks contain, if you can get it fat free, if you can get it sugar free, if you can get 4/9 decaf, then wanting to have it all in nice ceramic mugs and chat while you drink it. NO. NO YOU FUCKING CANT! LEAVE MY STORE NOW I WANT TO GO HOME! Ugh..I love my job, but just because you spend $8 on a cup of coffee every day, thats not my choice, its yours. Also...we're still people...we get paid less than you, to deal with people like you ALL DAY. You do not by any means have the right to treat us like crap because we dont work in an office with 3 windows on the 29th floor of that building down-town, and dont get paid 6 figures. Get a coffee machine and stay out of my face.

That's the world you live in, my friend. Learning to suck it up builds character, trust me. >:-)
